Entrepreneurs who meet one of the venture, approved business idea or previously sold venture conditions published by ICP.

1. Get ready

   • Check which entrepreneur condition you meet

     Identify whether you qualify through a UAE SME venture, an approved venture idea or a previously sold venture.

   • Gather evidence of your project

     Prepare evidence for the entrepreneur condition you meet and the project letters listed by ICP for its entrepreneur residence-visa service.

2. Apply

     Pay the required fees as part of ICP's entrepreneur residence-visa application process.

3. Visa

   • Receive the visa

     Receive the final product from ICP after the entrepreneur residence-visa application is processed.

4. Travel

   • Enter the UAE

     When you arrive

     Eligible Golden Residency applicants outside the UAE are granted a six-month multiple-entry visa, renewable for an additional six months, to complete the residency procedures.

5. Settle in

   • Apply for the residence permit

     Submit the ICP residence-permit application linked to an Emirates ID card application, including proof of eligibility for the Golden Residence.

   • Follow up and receive your documents

     Follow up through ICP's available channels; ICP says residence issuance is followed by Emirates ID card issuance and delivery by an authorised courier.
