Payments
Can I pay in naira?
Yes. On the web, people in Nigeria choose how to pay at checkout:
- Pay in naira: card, bank transfer or USSD, through Paystack, at ₦49,999 a year or ₦4,999 a week. One payment covers a year or a week. Nothing renews by itself, so there's nothing to turn off. We remind yearly members 14 and 3 days before it ends, and weekly members the day before.
- Pay by card in US dollars: any Visa or Mastercard, through Stripe, at $49.99 a year or $4.99 a week. It renews automatically, and you can turn that off in Profile any time.
Naira is chosen for you; switch before you pay if you'd rather use dollars. In the Japper app you pay through the App Store or Google Play instead, at the price they show for your country.
Japper will never ask you to pay for a visa in a chat. You only ever pay Japper through the checkout on japper.app or in the app.
